E is for El Diablo

The version of Diablo I'm going to focus on for this post is Ayer's Suicide Squad. I haven't really read many comics with him in them and I just liked that version. A pyrokinetic metahuman gangbanger, he accidentally killed his family and vowed to never use his powers again. I feel like had he survived, he could have been a hero.

  1. He was my favorite character of that movie. It felt like he was the only one (besides Will Smith and Margot Robbie, aka the two biggest stars of the movie) who got much of a complete character arc, so of course he had to be killed off. I forget if I got his figure from Five Below or Ollie's but it was less of a peg-warmer than Captain Boomerang or Katana.
