I watched this one Wednesday for the "Reanimated" prompt.
Plot
After the death of her mother, outcast teen Lisa finds herself adapting to things with her new stepmom and stepsister. She soon finds her life turned upside down by a reanimated Victorian corpse.
Review
Written by Diablo Cody, this flick is the directorial debut of Zelda Williams, daughter of the late Robin Williams. Honestly I didn't have strong feelings about this one. There were things I enjoyed and things I didn't. The film is stylish for sure. You can tell Cody wrote it, but it almost feels like a feminist Tim Burton movie. I feel the movie couldn't decide if it wanted to be a quirky romance or body horror. I also couldn't nail down when it was set and didn't care for the ending. Overall I don't think its a bad movie though. The cast did a good job, there were some good laughs, and like I said its a very stylish flick.
While this doesn't come into play at all, according to Cody this movie takes place in the same setting as Jennifer’s Body.
In Your Game
I won't spend the whole challenge making Cinematic Unisystem stats, but they seemed appropriate here. We don't know too much about the creature, though we know he played piano and loves poetry. Perhaps he's an Occult Poet (see Ghosts of Albion for more info).

I didn't really like that one. I think my main complaint was they almost instantly turn to murder. It made it hard to root for them.
