Synopsis: Charley discovers his new neighbor, the charming Jerry, is actually an ancient vampire. He enlists the aid of a famous "vampire killer" Peter Vincent to save those he cares about and take the bloodsucker out.
The Bad: This isn't the original Fright Night. That's going to bug some folks. Making Peter Vincent a Chris Angel style stage magician with a vampiric connection was an odd choice (though personally I think it works when you consider the setting).
Final Thoughts: This movie is way better than it has any right to be. The original is a classic, but this remake does it justice. I think the main reason is that it takes elements (mainly names and plot points) of the original and makes it its own.
In Your Game:
If you have the Vampire Sourcebook, then you already have a Fright Night scenario for Dark Places & Demogorgons. For this reason I decided to stat Peter for DP&D (though he could work for a Vigilante City game that includes vampires if you have access to the Monster Hunter class)
