October Horror Movie Challenge - Shaun of the Dead (2004)

Synopsis: A slacker, Shaun, must brave the zombie apocalypse to save his mum and win his girlfriend, Liz, back.

The Good: This movie is the perfect zombie comedy. It has real elements of tension, horror, and gore, but is also funny as hell. Shaun and Ed have a perfect dynamic. Edgar Wright's directing is brilliant. It's so awesome to see the parallel scenes in this one.

The Bad: Nothing.

Final Thoughts: While it's a comedy, this movie is the perfect homage to classic Romero zombie flicks and the godfather of the undead loved is so much he gave Pegg and Wright a cameo in Land of the Dead.

In Your Game:

Ed

Ed is more intelligent than other zombies. He is able to play video games and while he'll reflexively snap at friends, can generally distinguish friend from foe (and won't attack friends).
