N is for Necronomicons

There many versions of the Necronomicon (both cannon and non). Seven variations can be found on pages 155 and 156 of the rpg book. I'm going to present a few more below. Some may have game stats. Others don't. Assume that they have the spells found in my Incantations post, unless otherwise noted.

Necronomicon Ex-Mortis
This is the book of the dead found in the prime (movies, tv show) continuity. The face on the cover is reported to be taken from the Faceless One.

Naturom Demonto
This book is similiar to the prime Necronmicon though its cover doesn't have a face. Additionally it used to summon the Taker of Souls, instead of the Watcher in the Woods.

Necronomicon For Dummies
This guide tot he Necronomicon includes easy to pronounce phonetics for the spells contained within the book. Even characters with the Shmuck drawback can cast these incantations without issue. However, this version of the book does not include any spells related to banishing, controlling, or defeating the evil summoned.

NecroLOLicon
Created by a servant of the Dark Ones, the NecoLOLicon is a parody/companion to the Necronomicon. Written in English and Sumerian, the tome looks like a smiling version of the Necronomicon, though most doubt its written and bound in human flesh and blood. The jokes in this joke book can be used in conjunction with the one spell contained within the tome.

Pacify Deadite - By telling one of the 150 jokes in book the caster can attempt to pacify a deadite. The caster must make an Intelligence + Influence roll or Brains score vs. the Deadite's Brain score. If successful the Deadite rolls around on the ground laughing for the remainder of the scene (or until it takes damage)

Bonus Content
This is the third or fourth system I've statted this horrific thing out for.

Necronomithong
No one knows who created this truly horrendous artifact (or what woman would want it near her lady bits), but it exists and the world is more damned for it. The piece of damned clothing is sentient (which yes, makes it even creepier) and connected to the Necronomicon and its variants.  The wearer always knows in what direction and distance the tome is from them (though not necessarily which version it is). The Necronomithong refuses to be covered and the wearer cannot cover it with clothing. Deadites and demons attracted to the wearer's gender are slightly enamored with them. They will not attack them first the wearer is considered to have Appearance +5 to those damned things.
