Wax Figures (DP&D)

Here's the first of my Gravity Falls/Dark Places & Demogorgons conversions. The Wax figures appeared in episode 1.3 Headhunters.

Wax Figures

Armor Class: 10
Hit Dice: 1
Move: 12
Attacks: 1 per Round
Attack Damage: Weapon

Special: Only take HP damage from fire/heat.
Terror: 10
HDE: 1

Wax figures will only be active during periods that the moon is waxing. They avoid the sun and heat because the only way to defeat them is to melt them. Regular attacks may sever limbs, but be warned the limbs will act independently of the body.

Gravity Falls & Demogorgons

More than a little excited to read this
beauty.
Last week I came to a startling revelations. SURVIVE THIS!! - Dark Places & Demogorgons would be the perfect game to use if you wanted to play a game set in Gravity Falls!

If you are unfamiliar, Gravity Falls was a brilliant cartoon on Disney XD that ran from 2012-2016. It was two seasons (40 episodes) of quirky goodness. The series follows twins, Dipper and Mable Pines, as they spend their summer with their great-uncle (or as they call him Grunkle) Stan in the small northwestern town of Gravity Falls. Gravity Falls isn't what it appears to be though and soon the twins find out that there's more to the sleepy town than what meets the eye. They learn that there are supernatural forces at work and the area is crawling with paranormal entities.

This cartoon is perfect. It's way smarter and better than anything on a kid's network has any right to be. The show really does a great job of blending humor and mystery. While the show still airs on Disney Channel some, I recommend picking up the soon to be released Complete Series boxed set.

I plan on statting out various characters and creatures for DP&D. Has anyone else watched the series? Did you enjoy it? Think DP&D would be a good fit to emulate it?
