Pick A Card, Any Card!

So I've not been able to play 5th Edition yet. I've ran a handful of sessions and have an ongoing game that I'm going, but I've not had the pleasure of stepping out of the DM's seat yet. However, when I do I have a character I really want to play.

Here's a little breakdown.

Human
His primary attributes will be Charisma and Dexterity
Sorcerer (Sorcerous Origin: Chaos Magic)
Criminal or Charlatan Background
Deck of Cards as Arcane Focus Item

I want to make a character reminiscent of Marvel's Gambit or League of Legends' Twisted Fate. I'll definitely put my own spin on it, but I really like the criminal, energy slinger with a card motif concept.
